Microblading and Semi Permanent Makeup Safety Guidelines

Mobile Microblading – Semi Permanent Makeup

Why Microblading and Semi-Permanent Makeup treatments cannot be provided as a Home Mobile Treatment at LD Mobile Beauty…

Its not be to said or known that Microblading and Semi-permanent Makeup cannot be provided as a mobile treatment, however there are many factors to consider if this treatment is provided in someone’s home.

* Insurance – Does the therapist carrying out the semi permanent makeup treatment have the correct insurance in place to cover any problems that could arise? Lesley can provide copies of all insurance certificates if required.

* Licence – Most local authorities expect a beauty or facial aesthetics therapist to have a registered license to provide semi permanent makeup treatments. This ensures that checks have taken place and the authority is satisfied that health and safety is correct and certain standards are put in place and followed.

* Hygiene –  Working in someone’s’ home will not ensure that all hygiene is correct. The treatments involve puncturing the skin so BBV can be present, and therefore spread or passing of any possible infections need to be controlled.

Mobile Microblading, Bedfordshire

Due to these main factors and many others not included, I only conduct my Semi Permanent makeup treatments at The Therapy Lounge in Biggleswade, where I use a room that has been registered and licence with Bedfordshire Council.

Risk assessments and BBV control and hygiene procedures are also in place.  I also have safe clinical waste disposal and sharps bins in place at every appointment.
