Microblading Aftercare and what to expect…
Transition
Day 1: The colour will look 50% darker to what the final colour will be.
4-7 Days: The pigment will start to fade and appear to look lighter
4 – 6 Weeks: This is when the true healed colour will appear.
Daily After care:
Always wash hands and apply a recommended aftercare balm or cream by your therapist. This should be applied about 4 times a day. Keep the area dry and free from germs.
Do’s and Don’ts
Do not scratch, you will have itchy days but try and be patient.
Do not apply make-up for 72 hours after treatment.
Do not expose the treated area to hot heat, sun, sun beds, jacuzzies , or direct water
Do not use petroleum jellies for at least one week.
Avoid strenuous activity that will make you sweat.
Semi Permanent Makeup – Microblading
The most important rule to get the best from your Microblading treatment is to let it heal naturally as best as possible. You may have some scabbing; please do not pick as you will pull out the pigment and this will result in uneven colouring.
Remember to book your touch around 6 weeks after your initial treatment so that you will get a colour boost and your therapist can make any adjustments if required.
